Your Marketing System Really Matters

I’ve frequently said that, you can have the best loans, the best Lenders and the best commercial financing terms available and be 100% unsuccessful if you don’t master the art of marketing your self and your services.

Eventually, the commercial financing game changes from a game of numbers to a marketing game. And that’s why a bacic understanding of marketing methods and psychology is important.
In the past, I would offer my commercial financing programs to residential investors. It seem like a pratical thing to do at the time. But, too often, the residential investors just wasn’t able to perform on large commercial loans.  I realized that I was marketing to the wrong group.

Today, I have very simple marketing method that can be summed up as follows:

“I now market to people that have done what they are trying to do”. This includes marketing to Tax Credit Applicants, Property Owners Association, and Property Management firms. I no longer market my commercial loans to residential investors.

This minor marketing adjustment increased my closing rations by 80% and neted in $300 Million in loan placements.

Having a marketing plan and system in place is essential for selling your services or produces.
